Ilia Lopez, Executive Director/Founder
Ilia is a family law attorney and founded Fostering Imagination after interning at the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles. She has also conducted research for the Children’s Advocacy Institute in San Diego into the outcomes and programs available to emancipating foster youth throughout the United States. While studying at Southwestern University School of Law she served as the volunteer Community and Minority Affairs Commissioner, (winning an award for her work) giving her the opportunity to work closely with the children in the surrounding impoverished community. Her senior thesis addressed the recurring cycle of teen pregnancy in the foster care system. Ms. Lopez has extensive experience in outdoor recreation and is a volunteer with the Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica.



Eddie Jauregui, Program Director
Eddie has over 10 years of experience working in theatre and film. He is currenlty an IT Technician and Media Manager. Eddie is also an actor, director, and producer, and is one of the founding members of the Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica. He has worked with children in various capacities in the past 10 years. He has volunteered as a leader/mentor with the Ruskin Group Theatre’s Community Outreach Program that introduces youth at risk to the Theatre at the Rancho San Antonio Boys Home. He has also worked as a Children’s Party Performer, and a Photographer for youth sports. Additionally, he has over 10 years of experience in various outdoor activities and is CPR/First Aid Trained.


Fostering Imagination is also blessed and greatly appreciates its numerous volunteers for their dedication, love, and support.
